Transport & Sustainability: About Us

Our Aims

To Achieving Sustainability

Transport: Our goal is to enable our Customers and Guests to travel as sustainably as possible to and from RUBY, to promote cutting emissions and pollution, We actively encourage the use of carbon-free travel such as walking and cycling, as well as public transport and car-sharing. We are committed to letting local residents use the Pub as a neighbourhood hub for community activities.

Waste: At RUBY we have a number of systems in place to maintain our commitment to the environment. We recycle all glass waste and as much other waste as possible. The building was fitted with new wall and loft insulation during the refurbishment in 2018 and all of our lights are fitted with LED bulbs. We also have up signs to encourage our guests to  prevent unnecessary washing of towels during their stay.
